FOBICS assisted a traditional snack food industry manufacturing fried snack foods ,in improving shelf life and quality of the products. The work involved optimization of product formulation, dough mixing, frying and packaging operation including addition of preservatives for improving shelf life opf the product.
Presently active in improving sensory qualities and keeping qualities of "specially formulated smoothies" for a small scale industy in Mysore. The work also includes suggestions for conformation of product specifications and quality parameters laid out by FSSAI.
FOBICS is currently involved in providing comprehensive project consultancy for establishing a state of the art plant for manufacture of ready to use batters for Idly and Dosa. This includes preparation of detailed project report and providing consultancy for setting up of the manyufacturing unit.
