In addition to the Directors, FOBICS has constituted a Resource Panel, all experienced Food Technologists/Scientists, who can provide key inputs for projects undertaken by FOBICS, thereby making the services of FOBICS much more authentic and purposeful
Mr. Byndoor is the Managing Director of M/S Murhopye Scientific Company , Mysore, a leading manufacturer of Lab. & Pilot Scale Fermenters, Bio-fertilizer plants , Solid State Fermentation Plants, Vacuum Concentrators and other specialized Food processing equipment.
Mr. Byndoor has served in the Food Microbiology and Fermentation Technology Departments of CSIR-CFTRI during 1975-1984
Dr. N.G.Karanth retired from a senior position CSIR-CFTRI. He served in the Institute from 1984-2006.He was the Head of Fermentation Technology and Bioengineering department at the time of retirement.Before joining CSIR-CFTRI he served for nine years at CSIR –NCL Pune.
Mr. A. Ramesh was heading a group of engineers involved in process scale up, implementation and development of equipment . He has been responsible for the development of processes for Dal milling and a equipment for Chapathi, Roti and other traditional foods.
Dr. N. G. Malleshi retired as Deputy Director, CSIR-CFTRI and was Head of Grain Science and Technology department at the time of retirement. He is an active consultant responsible for establishment of a number of grain processing plants
Mr. T. R. Prabhu also retired Senior Deputy Director from CSIR- CFTRI and was the Head of Technology Transfer & Business Development department for a number of years. He is an alumnus of CSIR-CFTRI, and did his M. Sc. (Food Technology) from Mysore university. He is backed by a number of years of industrial experience also.
